Annual Recruitment Crawfish Boil

The Gonzales Lions Club Annual Recruitment Crawfish Boil is one of our most exciting and meaningful gatherings of the year — bringing together current members, family, friends, and prospective new members for an evening of fellowship, fun, and community spirit. This year’s event will be hosted at the home of Lion Debbie in Gonzales and serves as an opportunity for guests to experience firsthand what it means to be part of the Lions family.

More than just a great crawfish boil, this annual event is centered around membership growth and community connection. Members are encouraged to invite friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family members who may be interested in learning more about the mission and impact of the Gonzales Lions Club. Guests will have the opportunity to meet our members, hear about the projects and service work we support throughout the community, and discover how they can become involved in making a difference locally and beyond.

Those who are invited to join the club following the event will be formally inducted during our Annual Membership Banquet in June, where we proudly welcome new Lions through our official membership ceremony. The banquet is also one of the most important meetings of the year, as the club also inducts new officers for the upcoming year and recognize outstanding service by honoring dedicated Lions including our Lion of the Year.
